Pink and White Gradient

Hey everyone! My nails have finally grown back and I’ve gotten back into the swing of school (at least for now haha), so I’m back to blogging! Not much has happened in the past three weeks, I’ve been pretty busy with school and band. I haven’t been feeling my best the past week, I think I’m coming down with something, but I’m trying hard to not get sick, so hopefully I can fight it off. Other than that, nothing much has been happening, so I guess I’ll get to my nails.

I started these with a coat of OPI Matte Nail Envy. I then applied three coats of China Glaze – White on White. The pink is Wet n Wild – Candy-licious. Thanks for reading, I’ll try to be more interesting soon haha. Have a great day!

Another Break

Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you know that I won’t be posting again for a couple of weeks. I had some bad nail breaks and I’m down to super short nubs. Hopefully they grow back to a decent length quickly, but I won’t be posting until they do. School is also back in full-swing and I need to focus for a bit until I get back into the swing of school again. Thanks for understanding! I’ll be back soon!

Pink Leopard Nails

Hey everyone! Happy Friday! For a four day week, this week seemed to take a long time haha. I have marching band practice this afternoon from 3 to 5:30 (ish), and then I have the rest of the evening off (yay!) and then Saturday morning practice from 8-12 tomorrow. Then sometime tomorrow evening, me and some friends are going out to dinner and then hanging out at my house for a friend’s 21st birthday. Yesterday, I ordered swatch sticks so I’ll be able to keep track of what colors and polishes I have and hopefully be able to choose colors easier haha.

Today I have leopard print nails. I really like how these turned out, especially for only my second attempt 🙂 I started with a coat of OPI Matte Nail Envy. I applied two coats of China Glaze – Something Sweet as my base color, China Glaze – Dance Baby for the spots, and China Glaze – Make an Entrance for the outline of the spots. I topped it off with two coats of Out the Door top coat. Thanks for reading, have a great weekend! I’ll be back on Monday!

Blue Cloud Mani

Hey everyone! It’s nice to be back to blogging and doing my nails, I didn’t realize how much I missed it haha :). School’s going pretty good so far (I mean, it is only the second week, but so far so good haha). My classes seem pretty interesting, but they require a lot of reading. I wanted to give you an update on the puppies as well. Unfortunately, one of the puppies (black collar boy – Chance) had a heart problem and didn’t make it through the surgery to repair his heart (read his story here and here). However, the other 8 puppies have all gone to their new homes! And the last puppy to go home (light blue collar boy) is going to be a service dog for his new owner! And another puppy (teal girl) has gone on her first hunting trip! I’m so excited for all the puppies and their owners. I’m extremely grateful that I was able to be a part of their first 8 weeks of life! Here’s the last pictures I took with the puppies (first is lime girl, the second is a picture of me and Chance).

Now for the nails! Today’s nails are a simple cloud mani. I started with a coat of OPI Matte Nail Envy. I then applied 3 coats of OPI – Can’t Find My Czech-book. The white is China Glaze – White on White and the teal is China Glaze – Turned Up Turquoise. I finished with a coat of Out the Door Top Coat. That’s it from me! I’ll be back on Friday! Thanks for reading!

Pink with White Dots

Hey everyone! It’s been a while since I posted anything! Since I last posted, I’ve moved back to Tucson, completed band camp, finished my first week back at school for my senior year, and performed in my last first football game. Band camp went well, we learned all of pre-game (a first in many years) and part one of out halftime show “The Beatles Strike Back” (here’s our performance on the last night of band camp, the video from the game isn’t up yet). After band camp ended, school started. I only have band on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have four classes from 11:00 to 4:45 in the same room (not quite sure how I feel about that yet haha). My classes seem interesting (so far at least), but they do seem like more work than my other classes so far (which makes sense, I’m taking more upper division classes now). I know I’ll be able to keep up, I’ll just have to organize and prioritize. Our first football game was against Northern Arizona University (NAU) on Friday and we won 35 to 0. It was the first time we performed pre-game and halftime for a big crowd, and it was also the unveiling of our new uniforms! Unfortunately, I didn’t get any pictures in it this week, but I’ll try to remember to get some at the next game.

Because I’ve been so busy with life, I hadn’t had time to paint my nails until Saturday night. It was the first time I’ve painted my nails since my last blog post. I did something simple to help ease me back into doing my nails. I started with a coat of OPI Matte Nail Envy base coat. I then applied three coats of Wet n Wild –Candy-licious. I then used a dotting tool and China Glaze – White on White for the dots. I topped it off with a coat of Out the Door top coat. That’s it from me today, I’ll be back on Wednesday with another post.Pink with White Dots
