Hello 🙂 Today is day ten of the Advent Calendar Challenge, today’s theme is lights. I knew that I wanted to do something with colored outdoor Christmas lights (even though at my house, we use clear/white lights), because they’re easier to see. I started by painting my nails white with two coats of Sally Hansen Nail Growth Miracle – White Tip. I then used a striping brush and black acrylic paint to make the string that the lights go on (electrical cord? I’m not sure exactly sure what the technical term for it is). I then used a medium dotting tool to create “lights” on the string using Sally Hansen Insta-Dri – Lickety-Split Lime, Sally Hansen Insta-Dri – Orchid Express, and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri – Brisk Blue. I think they turned out ok (although, while typing this up, I realized that I drew the string on my pinky in the opposite direction – oh well). Check out the others who are participating in this challenge and don’t forget to check back tomorrow for another Advent Calendar Challenge post.
